I’m an anthropologist of play and games. I obtained my PhD in Anthropology at University College London in 2026. I’m currently a Senior Tutor at the National University of Singapore, where I’m part of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology.
I run AnthroPlay, a network of anthropologists of play and games; please join our mailing list here. AnthroPlay is anchored by an ongoing seminar series with the Royal Anthropological Institute.
I’m currently playing a lot of Pokopia and Grundo’s Cafe (a Neopets nostalgia clone!).
